These barely visible ultra-high-performance architectural speakers have been created to redefine the concept of a décor-matched entertainment system. The engineering behind Small Aperture is the culmination of extensive hours in the lab and a relentless passion for the art of recreating sound. Each one of the SA Series models can be mounted either in-ceiling or in-wall, with only a relatively tiny opening exposed to the listener. To trim this opening, James Loudspeaker offers a vast array of standard and custom finishes for the low-profile grille, which is available in 3-inch or 4-inch round or square flush mount style. (Now available with 3-inch Microperf grille.) Inside each of the SA speakers is a powerful yet compact subwoofer, coupled with a module that handles the midrange and high frequencies. We think the sound quality is nothing short of staggering, with detailed bass notes reaching down to 38 Hz and dispersion that covers a sizable area. Grille High Output Small Aperture® Speaker
The SA63-7-ENC is part of the Small Aperture® collection of ceiling and in-wall systems that provide high volume levels, deep bass and wide coverage from a small 3” flush and seamless round or square opening. (Now available with 3-inch Microperf grille.) James SA Series models are essentially hidden, yet provide the complete musical experience. Each unit has been engineered to integrate a multitude of designer demands, the no-compromise design solution for the meticulously artful and audio enthusiast alike. Each system is a true full range, 3-way design with a 0.75” (19mm) aluminum dome tweeter, 2” (50mm) aluminum midrange driver and a 6.5” (165mm) aluminum mini PowerPipe subwoofer, all concentrically mounted. Designed for whole-house audio installations, the SA63-7-ENC is especially suited for high-end homes where critical listening is paramount and aesthetics are equally as vital. The point source mid/high module provides excellent off-axis response and the hidden mini PowerPipe woofer generates bass down to 38Hz for a truly full-range music experience, yet the user only sees a 3” round or square seamless flush opening. The grille configuration also accepts industry-standard mounting and accepts high-end lighting trim kits to allow the speaker to match lighting fixtures in the same installation.
This model of Small Aperture can be ordered with shorter brackets that can collapse down to 7 5/8” and expand to 13”. Please specify, at the time of order, if a smaller bracket is needed.
The SA63-7-ENC conforms to UL2043 and UL1480 standards for fire safety and plenum use.
